Lothar Schirwitz

As one of the most experienced and creative pipe-makers at Design Berlin, Lothar Schirwitz was responsible for special production and handmade pipes, every pipe made by Lothar had his name impressed on it for identification. But since those pipes also had the logo of his employer "db", they were often taken for general production pipes and not recognized as truly handmade.
Lothar Schirwitz is in well-deserved retirement and sadly no more new pipes with the mark "Schirwitz" will be made. Many pipe lovers already enjoy the Schirwitz legend, a reputation which will surely increase now.
